Discover The Power of Faith in Your Everyday Life

Continuing with Faith. Faith using the Thayer's Greek Lexicon and Strong's G4102 is defined, "1. conviction of the truth of anything, belief (Plato, Polybius, Josephus, Plutarch; ...Diodorus 1, 86); in the N. T. of a conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, generally with the included idea of trust and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it:"

The Lord Jesus has much to say about faith. Hebrews 11:6 says, "But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Do you believe in Jesus Christ? Are you seeking him? I am not talking about just believing he was God man who came from heaven and did great miracles. I am talking about a personal relationship with just You and Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Do you believe in your heart having faith whereby 1st Corinthians 15:3 says, "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and 4: "And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

Christ died for our Sins. That means if you are NOT a believer your sin separates you from Jesus Christ. The KJV Bible says, Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; and in Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Do you want eternal life? If you do Romans 10:12-13 says, "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. and verse 13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Have you called upon the Lord to save you? Do it now. Just bow your head and heart and tell Jesus in your own words "Lord Jesus I know I am a sinner and that you died for me on the cross and God raised you the third day from the dead. I need you please forgive my sin and save me. Come into my heart and be my savior. If you prayed that simple prayer let us know so we can rejoice with you.

More on Prayer

Prayer is a relationship. 1. What is prayer? 2. Who was Jesus praying to/with? 3. Where was the location for prayer? 4. What was the time for prayer? 5. How to get results from prayer. Jesus describes a relationship with Nicodemus John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. To communicate effectively with Jesus

you must be born again. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. You start out your relationship

with Jesus by praying. Prayer is you getting on your knees (if you are able or in a chair/bed if unable) calling on the Lord Jesus to repent of your sin and for him to save you. Prayer is your communication with the Father, Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. In the book of Romans we find in 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Jesus prayed to God his Father in the garden. Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. Jesus was communicating with the Father to do his will as he prepared for the cross. Prayer is anytime and anywhere as saved people have 24/7 access. Prayer is also you thanking God for what he did for you. 1 Thessolonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received [it] not [as] the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. If you want something fromthe Lord call on him. PRAY!

I found in Psalms 119:18 "Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law."

The Psalms show me in 119:11 "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."

Prayer should be the first thing you do when encountering any problem. Ask the Lord..
